It is not an official authentication or certification body and does not issue valuations, nor expertise with legal or commercial value. The expressed opinions and the decisions relating to registration and the issued documents are based exclusively on the personal, discretionary and independent opinion of Pucci Papaleo or of connoisseurs appointed by Archivio Pucci Papaleo, formulated on the basis of their experience and expertise. It is specified that also such discretionary opinion does not in any way constitute a certification of authenticity, nor an expertise with legal or economic value, nor an attestation of factory originality (configuration and components exactly as left the factory). Should a watch not meet the criteria established for registration, no document will be issued and no reasons — written or verbal — will be provided regarding the refusal of such registration.
The Archive also reserves the right not to proceed even with a preliminary assessment of the watch, should there be insufficient elements to express an opinion, with no obligation to  provide written or verbal reasons.
The Archive disclaims any liability for any improper, partial, or distorted use of its documents, or for any evaluations made by third parties on the basis thereof. All documents, images, videos and texts produced and developed are the exclusive property of Archivio Pucci Papaleo. Any reproduction or use, even in part, of the Archive’s materials is prohibited without the prior written authorisation of Archivio Pucci Papaleo.
